California Fuel Tax- How high is too high

Everyone has been enjoying the low fuel prices over the past several months. They seem as though they may be here to stay for a while. According to the CA Department of Energy Northern California paid on average $2.30 per gallon recorded on January 27th. Currently 25% of our $2.30 per gallon is going to state tax’s.
